Giving Back

Every company has a soul. That soul emanates from the people that work there. There is no substitute for hard work and going the extra mile for our customers.
The soul of our company extends to giving back to our community. Since 2013, Lumber List Express has had a relationship with one of the most successful and well-known foundations in the country, The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers foundation. This foundation builds smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders as well as providing new homes for Gold Star families.
“While we have time here, let us do good”
Our role in the foundation is to provide complete material take-offs for all the new homes that they build. They build exclusively from our lists. We not only donate our services, but we also donate in cash what it would have cost to have this estimate done. Recently our very generous customers have joined with us in donating to the foundation and we have matched every donation.

As part of this year’s 9/11 anniversary tribute, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation provided mortgage-free homes to the following heroes and their families.
The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers foundation is reaching first responders families across the country in addition to the homeless veterans and smart homes programs.
