About Us
As we enter our 34th year with offices in North Carolina and New York, there is one constant – there is no substitute for experience.
As we evolved from estimating small residential projects in 1988 to the massive multi-family and commercial projects of today, our attention to detail remains the same. Along with experience there is another indispensable asset, and that is communication. When putting a list together for a large project there are always at least three partners that we include to insure the list is as accurate as possible. The path to accuracy includes the supplier, the framing contractor, and the architect/structural engineer. This is especially critical in dealing with preliminary design and development plans.
Our extensive plan notes which might be addressing complex shear wall and stud schedule issues, or simply a basic discrepancy, are a hallmark of our 34 years in business.

When time is crucial, an accurate list is essential
The mark of an experienced estimator is to be able to review a set of drawings and accurately assemble a comprehensive lumber list, but more importantly to know what is not shown on the plans but will still be required.
This knowledge is only gained by years of experience.
